Streams Tech, Inc. is an engineering and technology firm based in Leesburg, VA, specializing in environmental modeling, GIS, and enterprise software development for government and private-sector clients.
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced ESRI Enterprise Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale geospatial systems for major infrastructure projects. You'll drive the migration from ArcGIS Online to a full ArcGIS Enterprise deployment, working directly with client IT, asset management teams, and senior stakeholders. This is a hands-on technical leadership role. This role is primarily remote (US-based) and you need to occasional travel to Leesburg, VA and client sites in the USA.
Job Location
Job Responsibilities
- Design and document ArcGIS Enterprise architecture (ArcGIS Server, Portal, Data Store, Web Adaptor) across dev, test, and production environments.
- Implement Role-Based Access Control, SSL/TLS, and enterprise authentication (Active Directory/Azure AD).
- Support client IT teams through installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure geospatial services integrate with PostgreSQL/PostGIS and cloud data stores.
- Lead requirements workshops and produce clear technical documentation.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's in CS, GIS, IT, Geography, or related field (Master's preferred).
Experience Requirements
7+ years designing and managing ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise environments.
Job Requirements
- Hands-on ArcGIS Enterprise Base Deployment experience.
- RBAC, SSL/TLS, federated services, and AD/Azure AD integration.
- PostgreSQL/PostGIS and ArcGIS geodatabase integration.
- Azure or AWS for geospatial deployments; Python for ArcGIS automation.
- Experience with ArcGIS certifications, linear infrastructure asset management, Microsoft 365/Power Platform, ITIL or GISP certification is preferred.
