The Role:
We are seeking a skilled UI/UX Expert with deep ESRI Experience Builder expertise to lead the design and enhancement of interactive geospatial dashboards and web applications for enterprise asset management systems. You will transform complex infrastructure data into intuitive, visually compelling user experiences, working directly with client stakeholders, GIS architects and data teams in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. This role is primarily remote (US-based) and you need to occasional travel to Leesburg, VA and client sites in the USA.

• Design and develop responsive, user-centric web applications and dashboards in ESRI ArcGIS Experience Builder, incorporating branding, symbology and cartography standards.
• Improve navigation, readability and dashboard layout across multi-route asset views with seamless map-to-map transitions.
• Build and configure new geospatial layers, queries, filters and pop-up tables with dynamic links to documentation, images and external data sources.
• Implement layer toggling, data export capabilities and interactive widgets to support end-user analysis and reporting needs.
• Develop and refine user-friendly symbology, color schemes and visual hierarchies aligned with client branding guidelines and accessibility best practices.
• Produce clear technical documentation, user guides and style guides for client staff and future maintainers.

Bachelor's in GIS, Graphic Design, Information Technology or a related field.

5+ years designing and building UI/UX for web-based GIS applications, with hands-on ArcGIS Experience Builder expertise.

• Proven proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise and web map configuration (web maps, future services, hosted layers).
• Strong background in dashboard design, data visualization and cartography for infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of responsive design principles, UX research methods and accessibility standards.
• Experience with ESRI certifications (e.g., ArcGIS Online, Experience Builder) will be a plus.
• Experience with ArcGIS JavaScript API, HTML/CSS or React for custom widget development is preferred.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL/PostGIS data structures and ETL pipeline outputs is preferred.
• Experience with ITIL, GISP or UX certification is preferred.
